6/29/07:
- PRAISE- Kelli’s big brother continues to be working well with his counselor. In the last two weeks, we have been able to see answered prayer in his life regarding Kelli. He had not been interacting with Kelli probably from fear of hurting her, not wanting to face the situation at hand and/or a lack of understanding the situation. He has recently taken an active part in helping to care for her, has a desire to play/entertain her and has been hugging and kissing her! Thank you so much for your many prayers!
- PRAISE- We continue to give thanks for the many family members, friends, and volunteers that held the Longaberger Basket Bingo and additional Fundraising Raffles.
- PRAISE- The scar tissue around the feeding tube site is gone and it looks great!
- PRAISE- That Kelli has begun to allow us/ to tolerate sitting in a bean bag for short periods of time.
- PRAISE- Kelli qualified for Special Education Services through the county we live in so she now receives some Speech, OT and PT support at home!
- Prayer- Please pray for Kelli’s pain to become manageable!
- Prayer- Continued prayer for counseling for Kelli’s big brother and our family.
- Prayer- For God’s glory to be seen through this devastating situation.
- Prayer- Strength and peace for our family!
- Prayer- For all of the many children and adults with MLD and their families all around the world.
